Blad - An Easter Egg That's Almost Entirely Green
We love spring flowers. Of course we do. But what really gets us excited around Easter time is that we start seeing green leaves again. Winters are long and hard in Sweden and when the chlorophyll finally starts pumping we just want to celebrate all things green.
So here it is: an Easter egg that’s almost entirely green. Green in name (Blad means leaf), green in colour (but for a single yellow flower) and green for its sustainability credentials. Like the kids say in Sweden: “Grönt är skönt” (Green is nice!)
Reusable Swedish Easter Egg
Like all Easter Äggs from Gåva, this 15cm tin egg is reusable and designed to come out again and again (like a Christmas stocking for Easter). You could make your own treats to go inside, for extra green cred. Alternatively, if you're struggling for ideas or short on time, why not try filling your egg with some delicious Scandi treats from our Gåva sweetshop, or opt for one of our pre-filled eggs.
