Limited Edition Gin & Tonic Ägg

We wanted to give you a grown-up filler for your Äggs. Swedish sweets and chocolates are delicious, but as sunset creeps past 8pm, is there any better way to celebrate the return of the long evenings than a sundown G&T? 

The search began for a perfect gin partner, and with it, the gruelling task - we salute you, Jess! - of sampling a lot of gin. But when we met Carmen at 58 Gin under the railway arches in Haggerston and heard about their mission to make craft spirits in a sustainable way, we knew we were on to something.

And then we tried 58’s award-winning English Berry Gin, made from foraged sloe berries, with Fevertree’s Elderflower Tonic, and it tasted like spring in a glass: red fruits, fresh fruit, orange blossom and raspberry, with a lovely zing of citrus and elderflower. All the flavours of British spring, packed neatly into a handsome Swedish Ägg.
